Server Status
Just to inform anybody who might suffer under strange behavior on diekershoff.homeunix.net: we have problems with the MySQL database which leads to non functional behavior of the services that use MySQL like StatusNet or Friendika. All services that do not need MySQL work normally thanks to all the developers who care about flat-file based information storage 
Update (2011-04-05): Eventually some of the problems were caused by broken memory chip, that was at least something we found yesterday. MySQL still automatically restarts after each query…
Update (2011-04-06): Six out of eight of the MySQL databases are running again, the other two don’t want to ATM. That means that Friendika, Piwik and Openfire are working again 
I’m working on the other two, one of which is the StatusNet database 
Update (2011-04-15): Turned out that the some internal tables of MySQL were corrupted too, nice that this did not got into the logs… but now after a complete reinstallation and another resetup it seems to work. Except for one thing, my federated StatusNet followers don’t get the dents I post on big thoughts and tiny nonsense… I’m getting their stream perfectly alright 
Update (2011-04-15 #2) looks like identi.ca just needed some more time until my dents showed up in the timeline 
Update (2011-04-20) After some further investigation it turns out that some rows in some tables of the statusnet database were empty when there should be some values in there. So I’ll setup a new instance and resubscribe…
Update (2011-04-21) One final update to this posting, the new instance of SN is running and I’ve resubbed all ppl I followed before. If you like you can follow me back—and with this my identi.ca account will go silent again until the next hardware/software crash for my little server @$HOME.
